Life is definitely a journey worth living!
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,
– Colossians 3:23
For me my faith in the Lord is everything. That being said, I want to do all I can as for the Lord and not for men. In creating ÈK Designs, my hope, my dream is to be able to come alongside missionaries/non-profits and offer my gifts, designs, photography, etc at a free to low expense rate. To join them in their passion and help them to communicate what they are about and what projects they are working on.
I don’t know what this will look like a year from now, or five. But I want to help, I want to notice what God has given me in this life, today, and be thankful for it! And choose to live whole heartily as for the Lord and not for myself. I’m Going ÈK.
What in the world does ÈK mean?? ÈK comes from the Greek root word for heartily in Colossians 3:23. Which means A primary preposition denoting origin (the point whence action or motion proceeds) from, out (of place, time, or cause; literal or figurative). blueletterbible.org
I’m charged to “work heartily, not simply maintain, in all that I do” so, I’m excited to go ÈK!
In the last four years I’ve gotten the opportunity to design for many different organizations with FJDESIGN and I’ve noticed the power art and the creatives have in communicating someone’s dreams and passions. I see this as a need for the mission field to share their stories just like the businesses I’ve gotten to design for.
My first charge will be to go to Guatemala to team up with Cross Commission. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with John and Donna Reynolds, learning about all that they do in Guatemala with their youth center and local villages and seeing how I can come alongside.
Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to hear more about this journey, or would like to help in any way! There will me more to come, I’m sure of it! Thank you in advance for your time in reading this, in praying for ÈK Designs and maybe, just maybe I’ve encouraged you to “Go ÈK” in what you been given to do! (I’d love to hear about it!)
I’m also running a fun t-shirt campaign! Click here to purchase the shirt and help support this dream!
